Grounded leadership working toward a kinder world

I’m a Wall Street-trained attorney, advocate for people, animals and the environment, strategic advisor and author with over 15 years of experience leading legal, policy and community efforts.  I advise businesses and non-profits -- ranging from start-ups, community and social services non-profits, animal and environmental protection charities and sustainability-focused organizations -- with the goal of helping to make the world a kinder place for everyone.

My work is mission-driven. In a world filled with suffering, it’s incumbent upon us all to use our efforts and talents to make a difference. I believe it takes all kinds of work and activism to make change for people, animals and our planet — from the local activists rallying community support, to large-scale campaigns by to change consumer behavior and strengthen laws, and entrepreneurs working to create products and services that align with a vision for a kinder world.

And I’ve done it all, from canvassing for environmental protection groups and organizing demonstrations for animal protection causes, to drafting and lobbying legislation to stop animal cruelty and protect the environment, serving on the board of non-profits dedicated to helping vulnerable and underserved people, providing pro-bono legal work for charities and underprivileged families, defending victims of the Madoff Ponzi scheme, founding an animal advocacy organization, advising impact-driven start-ups, suing to enforce environmental protection laws, advocacy work for victims of domestic violence and child abuse, training social workers and child protection advocates on the link between animal cruelty and family violence, to winning first place at a baking contest for a darn good vegan double chocolate cupcake and writing children’s books to cultivate compassion for animals and the environment.

I hope you’ll join me!

PS - I love to do pro-bono work for charities, please reach out.
